I took this photo on, specifically, August 16th, 2019. What I think is really impressive about this photo is the fact that I took this with a camera that I thought wasn't really that good in terms of a macro lens. It wasn't the huge Nikon one I have now, but a tiny little pink Cannon something that most middle aged dads take with on vacations.
 
The details in this photo are just....WOW! You can clearly see all of the little details and dents in the moss on the bricks, the intricacy of the top of the acorn, and the little markings on the acorns. The little rocks inside the bricks are also clearly visible. It's just overall and artistic masterpiece in my eyes.
 
This photo was taken on yet another hike/walk. I remember holding up the whole group just to take this picture of a couple acorns. They were not to stoked about that, but I didn't really care.
 
The contrast in the colors is absolutely stunning, and the depth in the background is just perfect. I can confidently say that this photo takes my breath away. Even though it is just as simple as two little, tiny acorns, it still has all the magic any other nature photo would.
